March has been a hard one for our family. It came in like a lion and stayed like a Tazmainian Devil, wreaking havoc in our lives.
It actually started off wonderfully! Greg and I celebrated our 16th anniversary. We were able to go to lunch and remember the great times we have had and the many more we are looking forward to. Thanks mom for playing with Noah while we went out. He had fun and enjoyed being without the other two.
Then I was able to spend a fun overnighter with my friend doing nothing but crafty things. I made a poster and cards and learned how to use my new Cricut machine.
But then, the Tazmainian Devil showed up. I got sick and was down and miserable for 12 days!!! The boys went off track and we wasted an entire 12 days of vacation with me being sick. Not fun for anyone. Then, we planned a fun weekend family getaway in Idaho for Tyler's wedding, but the day before we left we heard the sad and tragic news that my uncle had taken his own life. It was made worse by the fact that 5 years ago on the same day, my grandpa had passed away.
We truly enjoyed being with the family and being a part of Tyler's wedding. The boys are keeping track of how many temples they have been to and Idaho Falls makes 8.
I was not ready to come home and face reality, so we stayed an extra day in Logan before heading home.
Scott's funeral was yesterday and I was hoping for peace and closure, and didn't find it. I guess I have to come to terms with "things" before I can move on. I have dealt with death before, but thankfully haven't dealt with such a traumatic one before.
Greg's dad had a doctors appointment yesterday, they think he had a stroke and were running tests to find the extent of damage done.
8 more days of March..........PLEASE let them be uneventful.
