Yeah!!!! It's Friday!!!!
It has been a fun, snowy, exhausting, and good week. School projects are slowly coming together, my goal of having home-cooked meals at the table (not the counter) every night is going pretty good. We only had one pizza delivery night (still eaten at the table ) when I started getting a migraine. It has been a good thing. We have had more enjoyable evenings and have had more good conversations. Nicholas has been the entertaining one this week. Sunday night I was trying to have a spiritual conversation about a story we heard in Stake Conference about a mothers prayers being answered. So I re-told them the first part of the story and was getting rather emotional, and asked then what mom's do for their kids when they need help. Prayer was the aswer I was looking for, but Nicholas (without missing a beat) pipes up and says ," They cry." I said no, and he says, "You cry all the time and you're crying now." Needless to say, I couldn't change his mind. Then the next day it was Nicholas's turn to say the morning family prayer, so he starts by asking for Greg to be safe and have a good day at work, then he asked for him and Nathan and Noah to have a good and safe day at school, he then says, "And please bless mom......... (long pause).... uh, mom - what DO you do all day?" After the laughter stopped (not mine) he said to bless me to DO SOMETHING today. *sigh*
Oh well. Someday when he is on his mission, he will know what it is I do all day and wish I was there to do it for him.
